FAQs

We get it.  Woodworking terminology and the cabinetry production process can be confusing. We've tried to address some commonly-asked questions. If you have more, please reach out! We'd love to chat.

1 / How long does the cabinetry production process take?

We typically operate at a 8-12 week lead time from contract signing and field verification. Most clients also spend 4-8 weeks in the design phase before cabinet production begins.

That timeline will vary depending on the scope and complexity of the project. Our Sales Consultant will keep you apprised of an updated timeline throughout the process.

2 / Do I need to already have plans drawn for the cabinets?

No. We are happy to work based off of architectural drawings or other technical documents, but we can also draw designs from scratch. For each job, no matter the starting point, we will create technical drawings and artistic renderings in our own software.

3 / How much will my cabinetry project cost?

Since each job is custom, it is difficult to provide an accurate cost range. Many things affect the cost of cabinetry, such as the configuration, material or finish choice, accessory add-ons, and more. After an initial discussion to define the scope of your project, we will provide you an estimated budget price early on in the process.

4 / Do you offer ready-to-assemble (RTA) cabinetry?

At our heart, we are a custom cabinetry shop, meaning we build and finish your cabinets in-house. However, we understand that you may want a one-stop option for all your cabinetry needs, from a custom kitchen to a simpler guest bath vanity. In 2024, we expanded our offering to include ready-to-assemble (RTA) and semi-custom options. These are most often added onto a primary, custom project.

5 / What’s the difference between frameless and inset cabinetry?

Great question! We created a quick one-pager to discuss the difference. Click the link below to check it out!
